Not necessarily. A license grants defined rights under a contract. The seller may retain ownership, but the actual agreement controls the scope.

Does anonymization eliminate risk?

No. It can reduce certain risks, but ownership, confidentiality, privacy, re-identification, permitted use and security still require review.

Who reviews the legal issues?

Qualified counsel should advise the seller on ownership, privacy, confidentiality, permitted use, liability and contract language. ROZETA coordinates the commercial process.

Can the buyer resell or sublicense the data?

Only if the agreement permits it. Sublicensing and downstream access should be evaluated and priced intentionally.

Exclusivity restricts the seller’s ability to license other parties, use the asset in certain ways or pursue related opportunities. Its scope and value should be examined carefully.

How does ROZETA charge sellers?

The seller keeps the first $150,000. ROZETA receives 10% of proceeds above $150,000, capped at a $50,000 seller fee. No seller transaction proceeds means no seller success fee.

Can ROZETA also be paid by a buyer?

Yes, when a separate written buyer agreement permits it. Expected buyer compensation is disclosed before the seller selects an offer.

Is buyer compensation a conflict?

It creates an incentive that must be disclosed and managed. ROZETA shows expected buyer compensation, seller fees, estimated net proceeds and the basis for its recommendation. The seller makes the final decision.

What happens if nothing closes?

The seller owes no success fee if it receives no covered transaction proceeds.
